I just got my building, I have to do the electric and inside walls myself before I get started. But what will I need to do after that I'm starting a small business, but this site is tricky to use. I'm trying to apply for what's required in my state I'm here. I'm pretty sure some things aren't required here. State laws vary Don't they do these things at the county clerk's office?

Hi I am looking to purchase wholesale to resell online.. You need at least a BUSINESS LICENSE and an EIN.  "IF," you want to buy or sell wholesale(in bulk) or sell retail( in small amounts) any materials, items or equipment, you need a SELLER'S PERMIT.Finally, if using a trade name, such as "Bob's BBQ," you will need a DBA filing. Alternatively, you can form an LLC or incorporate and that will register the name anyway plus it will protect your personal and business assets.

If I wanted to start a home business what do I need to do?  & can I use my home kitchen?Can I build and operate a catering company from my home in 28562 It doesn't answer my question about building a commercial kitchen on my property which is my residence in North Carolina 28562 Can I a commercial kitchen on my property which is my residence in North Carolina 28562 I do catering mostly for Church events and family gatherings.
