Start a trucking company
I plan on buying my own truck and leasing it through and Company No I have my own name of the company of my company Yes I have my own name for my company I just want to get a LLC Hello. I'm trying to find out what licenses/permits my husband needs to get in Florida to become an owner operator of a dump truck. He will be hauling materials in a dump truck. Don't know specifics yet. Um just wondering how much it is to get a business license Um me and my boyfriend were thinking about a mechanic business from home. I am a truck driver and am gonna start a business as well Um mechanic would be from home, and of course I am just going owner operator for buying my own truck. So I need the ein# for the federal tax ID. Um we live in California.

My employees will be in direct contact with shoppers. What if this company becomes really big will I be able to sell shares in the stock market? If not now soon I will have others involved as owners of the company. Is there anything I can do to look as if I am an established and big company? .

An LLC will limit any liability for injuries incurred by clients while shopping in your business establishment. If you have big plans and perhaps thinking that you eventually be a big company you will need to have a C corporation to sell shares in the stock market. An S corporation can only issue stock to a small number of shareholders and the stock cannot be bought publicly that is in the stock market. Though a sole proprietorship does not need a federal tax ID number a partnership does. A partnership also needs a fictitious business name to operate as well as a partnership agreement. In general an LLC or corporation has more prestige and credibility as a business entity company than a sole owner or a general partnership. So if you want to be taken as a bigger company or more credible one you may want to set up an LLC or incorporate.

I just got my building, I have to do the electric and inside walls myself before I get started. But what will I need to do after that I'm starting a small business, but this site is tricky to use. I'm trying to apply for what's required in my state I'm here. I'm pretty sure some things aren't required here. State laws vary Don't they do these things at the county clerk's office?

Hi I am looking to purchase wholesale to resell online.. But there are no taxes involved but the company is requiring a business registration or a sellers permit I just would like to know exactly what I need to do to get my small business which only consists of myself started. You need at least a BUSINESS LICENSE and an EIN. "IF," you want to buy or sell wholesale(in bulk) or sell retail( in small amounts) any materials, items or equipment, you need a SELLER'S PERMIT.Finally, if using a trade name, such as "Bob's BBQ," you will need a DBA filing. Alternatively, you can form an LLC or incorporate and that will register the name anyway plus it will protect your personal and business assets.
