A: Business Permit Requirements
 

An LLC will limit any liability for injuries incurred by clients while shopping in your business establishment. If you have big plans and perhaps thinking that you eventually be a big company you will need to have a C corporation to sell shares in the stock market. An S corporation can only issue stock to a small number of shareholders and the stock cannot be bought publicly that is in the stock market. In general an LLC or corporation has more prestige and credibility as a business entity company than a sole owner or a general partnership. So if you want to be taken as a bigger company or more credible one you may want to set up an LLC or incorporate.
Because your business is a home business you may need a home occupation license and a business license. An online home business is subject to all legal permits requirements like any other business. Operating your business from a commercial location may require you to sign a lease and clear the zoning regulations. If your business is located outside the city limits you may not need a city business permit to operate your business. Health related issues in your type of business may require a health permit in addition to a business license. If there are security concerns in operating your business you may need a county license in addition to a city and perhaps a state one. Because there are some hazardous activities and materials used in providing services you my need special inspections and clearance for safety in operating your business. Storing merchandise in your home may not be permited but in your garage may be ok. Posting business signs outside your house requires a sign permit. If there will be more than 5 customers per day visiting your house for business purposes they may not approve a home occupation business permit. Several deliveries a day in your house may not be allowed. Perhaps a couple per week may be more allowable. If you have employees perhaps non relatives will be working in your home business may not be allowed. Some cities allow only relative to be employees of a home business. It is not recommended to have structure that will look like a store from the street. If there may be zoning restrictions in using your home as a business location you may do not want to start a business at your home.

 Starting a  sell products Online store   business fist step is to select the tax legal structure. 1. Sole proprietor, 2. Partnership, and 3. Corporation or Limited Liability Company. All small, new,  sell products Online store  home based businesses, web based online as well as big businesses must select and register as on of these business tax structure entities.  Selling products requires a seller's  permit.

1..Do you need a business license for an online store with no employees.I do hard hats. I paint direct on building on panels. The customer's hang themselves.  



2. It is a service and product and how much does it cost to get them cds,dvd,t-shirts,hats.



3.  And i need to know where to go to do this. In order to make my decision, because i do not sell to many products is just an idea! knitting and crocheting hats. I have a page named Creaciones Yulyaneth, handmade with love!

1.  Yes, you need one business license and about 2 or more licenses.  For example, you need the seller's license permit to buy the panels wholesale. Wonderful, so the clients hang them themselves.



2. The license for the cds, dvd, t-shirts is called a seller's permit because you need it to charge your customers sales tax.  For example, if a cd costs $10, you need to charge .80 cents sales tax at 8% sales tax rate.



3. I love crocheting hats! You do not need to go anywhere to do this. You can make the decision by taking the licensing quiz.  Knitting and crocheting requires a business license and a seller's permit. 



4. Yes, you need the permit to sell handmade products. 





5,Buying and reselling hats requires a seller's permit and you don't need an EIN but it is a good Idea to get one and use it as a business tax id. I do suggest a LLC.

What does a single candy seller need to make and sell goods from home? I think so because eventually I want to buy wholesale okay. so. I would just need to go register my business name. I'm in Texas

A: A single candy seller needs a seller's permit to buy the candy wholesale, a business license because you are a seller business, and a DBA, LLC or corp because all starting businesses need to select a tax legal structure.

A: The costs are: $39 for business license, llc starts at $49 plus state fee, and seller's permit is $39 plus state fee.

If so, what about any company taxes, reporting income to the state and federal?
