LLC

(An LLC is the only corporate entity that protects both your personal and business assets!)

An LLC is a “limited liability company”.  An LLC is the greatest 20th century business structure invention because an LLC can be a partnership and an "S," or "C,"  corporation, which protects both personal and business assets.

LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (LLC)

An LLC affords more liability protection than a sole owner business structure.  An LLC can live longer than a sole owner as a legal entity. Not only that but also an LLC has the benefit of simple management as opposed to managing a corporation. Greatest benefit of an LLC? It protects both personal and business assets!

When using a business name other than your own personal name, you will need to register the name and get a certificate that is called  a Doing Business As (DBA) name. On the other hand, if you set up an LLC, you will also register the business name.

I say "also," because as an LLC you will be a corporate entity, which means that your business assets are not protected but your personal assets are protected from LLC wrongs and liabilities such as tax and debts as well as civil wrongs.

But, wait, what's more than that it's that, surprisingly, an LLC, also protects your business assets, especially if two or more members own the LLC.
